Yesterday's invasion tour was the bomb!! Allura, West Grand Boulevard, Caracal, Jack & Rai, Plainsunset, The Fire Fight, A Vacant Affair and Force Vomit were there. I really liked interviewing the bands. They were fun, funny, random, friendly, nice and most definitely, normal. They were pretty down low and stuff. The whole invasion thing is a great idea. It gives the local music scene the respect it so deserves. And I wrote my article already. I like it because I think I improved since the last article. I think I'm more straight forward now in terms of writing. The photos were quite nice also. I got to take pictures with most of the bands. YAY! haha. I didn't take with Plainsunset (super wasted I tell you) because I was sssooo hungry and Jon Chan was squeezing the middle person's moobs (the middle person is a guy). Seriously lah. They're so whacky you know. This is one of the reasons why I love my job as a writer for Oops! =) |
