Booze, smoke screen and smiley faces / 11:33 PM

I gotta say, I think I have the best classmates ever in my lifetime. Yesterday night was barbeque night at my lovely DMC 05's class challet. The minute I got in and took in the extremely spacious challet house and saw Wahidah, I went to hug her. Okay, actually she initiated the hug first. Man it felt good to see her and the rest.

Started off a bit rough as we work like over-sized elves, either poking wooden sticks through the food or getting the fire started for the grill. As we work and work, soon enough the fire got started and about half of the food was ready to be laid above the crackling fire. Oh there was on thing though, stupid immature people with the extremely honourable title of MATS had nothing better to do but to throw water bombs from outside the fence when we were trying to light the grill.

Oh and how do I know they're mats?

Simple, just listen to the way they laugh. And I find that Ah Bengs do not partake in such things because most believe in the "I don't care you, you don't care me" policy. Well that's what I think. Oh well, whatever race they are, they're just cowards lacking social life.

Anyway, after helping out here and there, I brought down my guitar and played a few tunes. According to Wahidah, it was nice to eat with some music in the background. Imagine midnight luau. ;) Really missed them all, even though some couldn't make it and not all stayed over. Which brings me to another thing, I didn't plan to stay over so when they asked me to stay over anyway, I slept in my jacket and jeans. And Xiu Wei, me and a few others who didn't plan on staying over either had to buy toothbrushes.

But the night was kinda okay because we killed it by watching 2 movies on Yusuf's laptop, some of us then played UNO while the others played some other game I didn't even know about. The UNO game was extremely excessive. It ended at about 3-4am and I finished 4th last. By then people had had their booze, contributed to the amount of smoke screen going on in the balcony and were smiling tired smiles.

Nicholas, Josiah and me, being the only three who didn't sleep, heard a promising ensemble in the house. A symphony of snores and sleep mumbling. I shall not mention who played which instrument because they should know themselves. ;)

But all in all, it was nice seeing them again and upon seeing them I have no need to miss school anymore. Ahh.. I think I'm getting sick though.
