Today Nisha had a performance at BTSS for Hari Melayu.. It was actually a karaoke competition.. Yes I know that I said I was gonna join as well but sadly the Bedok Town teachers emailed cikgu lynn only last friday that only one contestent from each school could participate in that competition... It sucks balls sia! they never told us anything till the last few days.. anyhoos.. we picked Nisha to be our representative as shes a very good singer and she has performed before.. And furthermore shes my god-sister.. hais.. but I am at least content that she actually had second thoughts because she felt sad for me since she knew how hard it took me to face my fears, find a song and actually rehearsed.. but before she said anything i had predicted this and just told her to join.. which she did.. she got 3rd place.. but i thought she should get at least 2nd.. the first gal was from BTSS.. she was SUPERB!!! not that im saying Nisha wasn't its just that she was better.. but the 2nd gal shouldn't get 2nd.. It shoud either be Nisha or that broadrick gal.. but i deduced from this competition that the guys were..erm sorry eh.. pathetic.. i tink i would have been to.. but one of them was quite ok.. the other one din even noe his song and reasoned that he just got it yesterday..but i still think that that..erm..off-pitch misshap was an attemp at trying to reach a high note at the parts he was sure off.. well.. overall im happy that Nisha clinced at least third place.. o ya! and amirah got 2nd in sajak but she should have gotten FIRST!!! she was DAMN GOOD and she was the ONLY one not using the mike and she still could shout through the hall.. WOW!! but im still dissapointed that i din get to join.. well.. maybe next time.. |
